About the position
We are a specialist clinic and day-care unit that investigates and treats patients with gastrointestinal diseases. Patients come here for investigation prior to treatment, as well as for follow-up after inpatient care.
We also have a day-care unit where patients receive medical treatments such as infusions and injections.
The operation conducts a national highly specialized mission (NHV) in reconstructive surgery, which means we meet patients with complex care needs from all over the country.
Here, you also have the opportunity to participate in our ERAS (Enhanced Recovery After Surgery) work and contribute to the development of modern, evidence-based care processes.
We are both a medical and surgical clinic and are in an exciting phase of development where we are building up a surgical clinic operation linked to our NHV mission. Here, the nurse plays a central and important role in the entire care process, which is why we want to expand our surgical competence with this recruitment.

Here you will have a qualified and varied job with a clear surgical focus. You will:
- Work both at the clinic and in day care
- Meet patients in complex surgical care pathways
- Plan, implement, and follow up on treatments
- Assist with examinations such as proctoscopy, sigmoidoscopy, and rectoscopy
- Work with stoma care and patient education
- Be involved in the development of care processes within surgery
- Work in close collaboration with doctors and other professions
The position contributes to our 24/7 operations by working two weekend shifts per month. The advertisement concerns two positions: one permanent position and one one-year fixed-term contract.
