The Child and Youth Investigation Group at the Social Services Office is looking for two social secretaries due to current employees going on parental leave or changing work groups. We are looking for you who are eager to work in a driven work group where everyone's competencies are utilized and where innovative solutions and collaboration characterize the investigation work.
The Individual and Family Care is organized based on five different areas: Reception, Investigation, Open Care, Follow-up, and LSS/Economic Assistance. Here, you will be one of six child and youth investigators forming an investigation group together with adult case handlers and family law secretaries.

When you start with us, you will receive basic training in Signs of Safety if you do not already have it. The Signs of Safety approach is based on striving for close collaboration with the families' own network, and you need to understand the importance of letting those we meet find and test their own solutions.
We apply co-handling when necessary but appreciate that you have the courage to work independently in cases when possible. The foundation is always that you feel secure in your work and receive support from colleagues and managers in the moments included in your daily work. To make this work, we have weekly group meetings where the responsible manager participates. You will also have regular individual case support with the group manager. The responsible manager is also available in everyday life and sits together with you and your work group. When you are new to the workplace, you will also get a mentor who supports you a little extra in everyday life until you get into the work.
Finspång Social Services are characterized by courage, cross-boundary collaboration, and employee engagement. This means you will have the opportunity to contribute to quality-improving work in some form, and you can expect that even as an investigator, you may be asked to step outside your role to meet families' needs in the best way.
Working hours are mainly during the day, but irregular hours may occur. Remote work is possible. Flexible agreements apply when you work with us.
Your future tasks
As a social secretary in our child and youth investigation group, you handle cases in the age range 0-18 years together with your colleagues. In the work, you need to be able to switch pace, balancing documentation requirements with the importance of personal meetings. We investigate cases according to SoL, LVU, and LBSB.
We see investigation work as change work, and it often happens that you collaborate with others within IFO even during the investigation period, such as family therapists, adult case handlers, and SSPF coordinators. Since all placed children have their own social secretary in the follow-up group, we can conduct qualitative investigation work while actively working in all our placement cases. For us, it is obvious that the children are in focus, and it is therefore crucial that you see the importance of talking to children and working for children's participation in all matters concerning them.
Who are you?
You have a social work degree and previous experience in authority practice with children and young people. You have knowledge of current legislation and are well acquainted with handling child and youth cases. It is an advantage if you have previously worked based on Signs of Safety. Great importance is attached to personal suitability.
A B driver's license is a requirement.
Interviews will be held continuously during the application period. The last application date is July 19, and employment begins by agreement.
