Do you want to work in retail in a service-oriented environment? Are you accustomed to working in a customer service environment where the pace can be high? Then you have the chance! In this assignment, you will work in a high-performing environment with both customer contact and front desk responsibilities.

About the role

In the role we are now recruiting for our client, you will be an important part of their team, handling a wide variety of customer cases as well as reception duties. You will support both brands the company has, giving you a diverse and developmental daily routine in close collaboration with your colleagues. This is a consultancy assignment via Academic Work where you are employed as a consultant. The role is split between Customer Support and Reception/Front Desk, giving you a varied workday with both digital customer service and personal face-to-face interaction.

This is a one-year fixed-term position with the possibility of longer-term stability. You will become part of a team that works towards several markets and brands within the company, where service, quality, and customer experience are in focus.

Responsibilities

In the role, you will work with both customer service and reception. Your main tasks include:

  • Provide professional service to customers via phone, email, and chat.
  • Follow up on cases and ensure fast and quality handling according to set KPIs.
  • Inform about current offers and campaigns and contribute to sales.
  • Work proactively to strengthen customer loyalty and reduce churn, including work with memberships.
  • Provide feedback to the team and internal departments to improve products, services, and ways of working.

If you are responsible for the reception, the following tasks apply:

  • Welcome and assist visitors and employees in a professional and service-oriented manner.
  • Handle access control, visitor registration, and security routines.
  • Receive mail and deliveries and keep the reception area presentable and functional.
  • Support with other reception-related tasks as needed.

The role is split, meaning you work in customer service on some days and in the reception on others – the distribution is determined by the company's current needs.

We are looking for you who

  • Have documented experience in service work with a strong customer focus.
  • Have a completed upper secondary education.
  • Have good system proficiency and thrive working in multiple systems simultaneously.
  • Speak and write fluently in Swedish and English.
  • Have previously worked with customer support within retail.

It is an advantage if you have

  • Knowledge of Finnish, German, or Norwegian.

For our part-time positions, you as an applicant need another main occupation of at least 50%. For this position, there is a requirement of 2 years remaining of post-secondary studies.
