Job Responsibilities
We are looking for you who want to work closely with people and contribute to safe and high-quality care. The position is part of a "Close Care" project during 2026, focusing on operational development and quality-improving measures within home care. The project aims to meet increasing care needs by strengthening team competence, developing working methods, and ensuring safe, cohesive, and person-centered care for our users.
There are good opportunities for continuation after the project period, as the need for home care is expected to increase in the long term as well.
As an assistant nurse, you play a central role in our HSL-USK team and are involved in creating safe and professional nursing care for our patients.
Your tasks are delegated by the registered nurse and include among other things:
- Wound care, where you carefully follow given routines and guidelines
- Sampling and handling of samples according to instructions
- Medication administration, such as dose splitting and subcutaneous injections
- Catheter care in accordance with current work routines
The work initially takes place during an introduction period together with a supervising registered nurse, after which you work more independently in close dialogue with the team. You contribute your competence and engagement to ensure that our patients receive high-quality care.
The position also includes documentation according to current guidelines, where you clearly and accurately register relevant nursing information.
Working hours are during daytime, Monday–Friday.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who are trained as an assistant nurse with a protected professional title and have at least two years of experience as an assistant nurse. You have good knowledge of basic nursing care and are confident in your professional role.
It is meritorious if you have experience with wound care, catheter care, and sampling, as well as experience working according to current guidelines and hygiene routines. Having experience with the tasks is seen as positive, but most important is your engagement and willingness to develop together with us. To thrive in the role, you are responsible, confident, and have good collaboration skills. You are flexible, solution-oriented, and thrive in a daily routine where tasks may vary. We appreciate that you are unpretentious, engaged in your profession, and want to contribute to maintaining and developing our high care quality.
You need to have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, and hold a Category B driver's license. Personal suitability is given great weight.
In this recruitment process, we work with continuous selection, and you may be contacted before the application deadline. Welcome to submit your application today!
