About our workplace

Department 237 focuses on cardiology. Here, we treat patients with heart diseases such as myocardial infarction, unstable angina, heart failure, and arrhythmias. We also have intermediate care beds where we treat patients who require a higher level of care but do not fully require intensive care. The department has 17 care beds and is divided into three groups based on care level:

• Cardiology side: Here, patients requiring telemetry monitoring are treated. Common diagnoses include atrial fibrillation and heart failure.
• HIC (Heart Intensive Care): HIC offers ischemia monitoring, and here we meet patients with myocardial infarction, unstable angina, pulmonary edema, or more serious arrhythmias.
• IMC (Intermediate Care): On our IMC beds, we treat patients who require closer monitoring. Common diagnoses on IMC include sepsis, ketoacidosis, intoxications, and respiratory failure.

About you

You are a licensed nurse and are interested in a night shift position.

We would like you to be creative and able to convey thoughts and ideas to help develop the department together with us. If you are a newly graduated nurse, you will participate in the Clinical Base Year, which is our introduction program. The clinical base year is mandatory and lasts during the first year of your employment with us. The clinical base year includes lectures, nursing guidance, and practical training of your profession at the Simulator Center. In addition, it includes working on at least two different departments to broaden your competence.

In the event of recruiting nurses/doctors with foreign qualifications/specialist certificates, the current position will be preceded by a process to meet the requirements for Swedish qualifications/specialist certificates.
