KAVA – Surgical Emergency Care Unit

Do you want to work in a dynamic and educational environment where every day makes a difference? At KAVA, you will encounter a fast patient flow with both acute surgical conditions and trauma patients – no two days are alike here.

We are a unit focused on rapid and professional surgical care. Our patients primarily arrive via the emergency department and require inpatient care for observation, investigation, or surgical intervention.

In addition to our inpatient care with 21 beds, we also provide outpatient care in the form of an integrated clinic at the surgical outpatient department, which gives our nurses broad and varied competence in both inpatient and outpatient care.

About You

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse and have a genuine interest and commitment to surgery and emergency care. Experience from surgical wards, trauma care, or emergency care is preferred. If you are specialized in surgical care, we can also offer you other exciting assignments within the unit as part of your role.

If you are a recent graduate, we create a tailored plan for you that includes a clinical foundation year.

As a person, you are responsible and flexible. You have no problems working in a team and believe it is of great importance to maintain a good work environment together with your colleagues.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Other Information

The position is scheduled for day and evening shifts. We offer you a 4-week introduction program.

Interviews are conducted continuously throughout the application period.

The position may be placed in a security class. This means that security clearance and register checks may be conducted in accordance with the provisions of the Security Protection Act prior to employment.

Clinical Foundation Year
