Customer Accountant for Accounting to ICA Business Services

How your daily life will look

You will compile and quality-assure monthly closing, annual closing, annual reports, and reports for the ICA stores (customers) that your team works with. You will also work with other consulting services such as advisory, tax returns, budgeting, analysis, and follow-up.

You will work in a team with accountants, where you have the ultimate responsibility for the overall delivery to the customer, which includes daily customer contact. You will also visit several of your geographically dispersed customers during the year.

• Closing, annual reports, follow-up
• Customer responsibility in delivery to the team's customers
• Quality assurance of the process and coordination in the customer team
• Analysis and advisory

Our expectations of you

You have a team of colleagues who provide you with basic accounting services and accounts receivable/payable functions. The team should together create a high-quality delivery to each ICA retailer.

You are expected to be able to plan and prioritize your work independently. As a customer accountant, it is your responsibility to bring together a whole from the team's different functions and work. Your most important tasks are to create a good relationship with the customer, structure and prioritize the work to meet deadlines with good quality and efficiency. In addition, you are expected to actively participate in change work, be flexible, and support colleagues in the organization as needed.

Your background

You have at least five years of experience in independent work with accounting, closing, annual reports, tax returns, and analysis. You are well-versed in the handling of small limited companies (FÅAB).

Experience working with Infor/3 is meritorious.

We would like you to have worked for a couple of years at an accounting firm with own customer responsibility or in another retail company. You have good analytical skills, have a holistic understanding of economic connections, can draw conclusions, and communicate them pedagogically; both to the team but above all to the customer. You have experience in supporting customers with analysis and can see what numbers mean, not just that they are correct.

In your role, you are supportive in accounting matters internally but also an economic advisor to the customer. For this reason, it is important that you are social, good at building trust, and maintaining good relationships.

To thrive in the role, you are driven, positive, curious, and have a strong desire to learn new things. You enjoy change and improvement, are proactive in your approach, and have the ability to prioritize based on the changing daily life that customer-facing work entails. You are a team player with good communication skills both verbally and in writing.

You have a well-functioning self-leadership and contribute to driving a successful business.
