Do you want a varied and meaningful job where you can truly make a difference? Are you a driven and curious person with a coaching approach? Then you might be our next group leader at Hasselvägen?

About the role As a group leader, you work primarily in the operations with care or treatment work. You also have administrative tasks such as scheduling, updating risk assessments, deviations, and documentation. You lead the daily work by introducing, coaching, and including. Furthermore, you ensure good quality in the operations and work based on Nytida's pedagogical framework with the aim of providing the best possible support and conditions for the care recipients. Of course, you also contribute to a good working climate and good relationships with the operation's customers and relatives. This is done by being present and supportive, answering questions, leading, giving feedback, and confirming your employees in everyday life. You report to the operations manager and are part of the operation's management group. The position is 100% and you work on a rolling schedule with weekend and evening shifts.

About Hasselvägen Hasselvägen is a group home according to LSS (Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) that targets individuals with a diagnosis within the autism spectrum or intellectual disability. We work individually based on Nytida's pedagogical framework, which is built on low-affective handling, clarifying pedagogy, and alternative and augmentative communication (AAC). The group home is located with nature around the corner in a quiet villa area on the outskirts of Nygård, just over half a mile outside Lödöse. In the community, there is a small shopping center with, among other things, a grocery store, pizzeria, and hairdresser. On the nearby football field, you can follow matches during the season. There are buses to Lödöse, and from there you can take the train to Gothenburg and Trollhättan.

Our employees have experience and knowledge to work with the target group. They have relevant education within social care in the form of, for example, nursing programs, vocational education within social care, or social work education.

Through our own educational activity, Lära, we offer internal training for our employees, for example, training in diagnoses, low-affective handling, and motivational interviewing. Lära also offers introductory training and training in working environment, diet, and nutrition, and other matters related to the operations. All our managers undergo a leadership program. Through Lära, employees can also, if necessary, receive supervision to solve a specific pedagogical challenge.

The way of working is individualized so that each individual resident has the best conditions for quality of life, participation, self-determination, and meaningfulness. With calm, security, and structure, we give you support to use your strengths and to embrace your interests.

Your experience and knowledge You have a university degree with a focus on pedagogy, social work, or care and nursing, as well as experience with the target group. Furthermore, you speak and write fluent Swedish and have good computer skills. It is an advantage if you have knowledge and experience of different forms of cognitive support and low-affective handling as well as leadership.

You are clear, pedagogical, and driven by getting people to grow and develop in their professional role. As a person, you are independent, unpretentious, and have an easy time collaborating. You have the will and ability to lead and follow up on the operations based on the company's goals and economic frameworks. You are initiative-taking and sensitive to the care recipient's needs and feel a natural respect for other people.

Active leadership To succeed as a leader with us, an active leadership is required that is based on our values. We therefore train all managers and leaders through our own educational department, Lära's leadership program. We want a leadership that creates motivation and engagement among our employees.

It is natural that you as a group leader live our values: Respect – Everyone has the right to a dignified life with physical, psychological, and social well-being. Responsibility – We have employees who dare and want to, and managers who listen and lead.

Simplicity – It is easy to influence and to be an employee or to live and stay with us. Knowledge – We reflect, learn from each other, and utilize everyone's competence.

Within Nytida, we are in constant development. With us, you can grow as a person while making a difference for others. Here is what you get with us:

  • A common pedagogy to provide the best care and support to our care recipients
  • Competence development through our own educational organization, Lära
