We are now looking for an engaged HVAC technician who wants to contribute to ensuring our properties function safely, efficiently, and sustainably.

Region Blekinge manages approximately 290,000 square meters of premises. Property Services East is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the properties in the eastern part of the county. The position is located in Karlskrona.

About the Job

As a technician specializing in HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning / Plumbing), you work with the operation, supervision, service, and maintenance of building technical installations. You are a key part of the work to ensure that our properties function optimally for patients, employees, and visitors.

The work is varied and involves both independent responsibility and close collaboration with colleagues and other professional groups.

Examples of tasks:

• Perform minor HVAC installations as well as renovation and extension work
• Service, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC systems
• Replacement and maintenance of valves, pumps, fixtures, and other components
• Supervision and care of heating, water, and sanitary installations
• Contribute to the development and creation of routines for operation and maintenance
• Document completed work and report deviations
• Collaborate with customers, contractors, and suppliers

About You

We are looking for you who have upper secondary education with a focus on HVAC or equivalent competence assessed by the employer as equivalent.

For the position, you must have:

• At least three years of experience working as an HVAC installer, service technician, or repair technician
• Good technical understanding and experience in troubleshooting
• A valid driver's license (Category B)

It is meritorious if you have experience working in property management or technical maintenance of larger buildings.

You thrive working both independently and together with others and find it easy to build good relationships with customers, colleagues, and suppliers. You have the ability to plan and prioritize your work and have an interest in technical development and improvement work.

Other Information

On-call duty may be included in the position.

Region Blekinge assigns all permanent staff to wartime duties. Some positions may be security classified, which means that security clearance and register checks are conducted according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585).

About Region Services

Region Blekinge's organization is divided into six areas of responsibility, one of which is Region Services. Here, resources are consolidated for regional properties, building technology, cleaning services, logistics, meal services, central warehouse, and customer service. The primary task of Region Services is to own, manage, and develop Region Blekinge's properties and rented premises. The area also provides and develops service services within cleaning, meal, material, and textile supply.
