Job Description

We are now looking for you who is a teacher for grades 4-6 with qualifications in Swedish/Swedish as a Second Language (SVA) and Social Studies at Husieskolan!

Husieskolan is looking for an engaged primary school teacher in Swedish/SVA and Social Studies for grades 4-6 who wants to be part of a dynamic operation where you can influence and make a difference. You will be responsible for teaching, planning, and assessment, with a clear focus on anchoring your practice in regulatory documents and current research. Here you will have the opportunity to, together with your colleagues, develop your subject and create inclusive, modern, and creative teaching.

At Husieskolan, we work in teams based on grade levels, while also providing opportunities for planning and development within the subject group. We work with a clear focus on goals and results. As a teacher in Swedish/SVA and social studies, you teach together with your colleagues in grades 4-6 and have mentorship responsibilities for one grade level. In your role as a mentor, you have specific responsibility for a group of students, giving you the opportunity to follow their knowledge development and personal maturity more closely. You collaborate with other school staff to create a good learning and working environment for both students and staff, and participate in the school's development work.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a solid background as a certified primary school teacher for grades 1-7 with qualifications in Swedish/SVA and Social Studies. It is advantageous if you have worked actively with language and knowledge-developing methods. You need to have good knowledge of the school's regulatory documents and the ability to apply them in your daily work. Your didactic and pedagogical skills enable you to create a safe and stimulating learning environment. You work evidence-based and are familiar with digital tools. Naturally, you have a professional attitude and build good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues. We would like you to have clear pedagogical leadership, value diversity, and thrive in collaboration.
