Your Responsibilities
You will have an important operational role within the purchasing organization, focusing on structure, data quality, and well-functioning administrative processes. The role is not strategic or senior, but suits you if you enjoy working close to operations, ensuring quality in the details, and creating order in processes and systems.
- Responsible for master data and item data, ensuring that information is up-to-date and accurate.
- Handle and quality-assure price changes.
- Compile, consolidate, and follow up on information used within the purchasing organization.
- Contribute to purchasing forecasts.
- Participate in the budget process by providing underlying data and ensuring that the correct information is available.
- Work continuously in the business system to ensure well-functioning administrative flows.
- Participate in processes related to purchasing and quality.

Worth Knowing
The role of Purchasing Coordinator is a full-time position within the purchasing organization, which consists of 24 people. You report directly to the Purchasing Manager and are based at Byggmax’s service office in Stockholm, with the possibility of hybrid work two days per week. This is a permanent position starting with a probationary period.
We conduct ongoing selection and therefore recommend that you submit your application as soon as possible. The goal is to complete the recruitment process before summer, with a start date as agreed and preferably as soon as possible after the holiday period.
Our Expectations
We are looking for someone who thrives in an administrative role where structure, quality, and accuracy are a natural part of everyday life. You are motivated by working with data and systems and have an eye for detail that ensures correct information and well-functioning processes.
You have experience working in business systems and feel confident handling, checking, and updating information. You also communicate fluently in Swedish and English at work. Experience with item data, master data, or purchasing-related processes is meritorious, as is knowledge of IFS. The role suits you if you are at the beginning of your career or have a few years of experience and wish to continue developing within areas such as purchasing, quality, and pricing. Therefore, we would like you to have good system proficiency, be quick to adapt to new ways of working, and have a willingness to learn more.
As a person, you are responsible, unpretentious, and structured. You collaborate easily with others while feeling confident in asking questions and pointing out things that need correction or follow-up. To succeed in this role, we believe you appreciate order and routine, work methodically, and want to contribute to high quality in the daily work of the purchasing organization.
