In the role of salesperson, you will learn and develop in areas such as:

• Customer Focus and Service: As a salesperson, you take care of our customers and members and serve as our most important face to the outside world. It is a fast-paced environment, and no two days are alike.
• Sales and Cashier Operations: A significant portion of your time as a salesperson involves serving customers at the checkout. Here, we talk about both sales and food preparation, as well as vehicle rental and car washing.
• Retail and Store Operations: When we say the tasks are varied, we mean it. The role also includes duties such as cleaning the forecourt and restrooms, as well as stocking and fronting the chilled displays. All of this is to create a pleasant and welcoming store for our customers.

As a salesperson on an as-needed basis, you do not have fixed scheduled shifts but are called in when regular staff is absent. Work shifts are based on rotation and vary in length and time of day. The station is open weekdays between 06:00 - 22:00 and weekends between 08:00 - 22:00. Start date is by agreement.

With an as-needed employment at OKQ8, you receive an hourly wage based on your previous experience in service, supported by our collective agreement. The salary varies between 164–198 SEK/hour, and you also receive additional shift allowance (OB) for work on public holidays, weekends, evenings, and nights. Your previous work experience must be verified with a certificate from your previous employer.
