SiS also operates closed youth care facilities and homes for adults with substance abuse across the country. Working with us offers you an exciting professional challenge. Regardless of where you work within our organization or what role you hold, you contribute to life-changing change.
At our headquarters in Solna Business Park, approximately 500 employees work together to support and develop the agency, which has a total workforce of around 5,000.
Job Description
At the Purchasing and Procurement Section, we have an ambitious and service-oriented team that values good collaboration. The section has a central and overarching responsibility for steering, development, follow-up, coordination, and advisory services regarding purchasing, procurement, and contracts. Due to our growing organization, the section is expanding with more employees.
SiS is actively working to introduce category-based purchasing, which the section is responsible for driving and developing. We also continuously work on training issues, provide support for good contract management within the organization, and are responsible for the agency's contract database and e-commerce system. The section is currently staffed by fifteen employees.
To the Purchasing and Procurement Section at the headquarters, we are now looking for a Purchasing Controller to replace a colleague on parental leave. As a Purchasing Controller, you play a central role in supporting the daily purchasing operations. The main focus is on providing support to the agency's purchasing coordinators and guiding them to the correct existing contracts. You will be a key support for staff at our homes across the country as well as for the headquarters' support functions.
You will work in an advisory and operational capacity, focusing on making the purchasing process clear, correct, and smooth for the business. Participation in various working groups and internal training within the purchasing and procurement area may also be part of your duties.
In the role of Purchasing Controller, your responsibilities include, among other things:
- Supporting institutions and the headquarters with orders and ordering procedures.
- Helping operations identify and use existing contracts.
- Providing advice on internal purchasing routines.
- Collaborating with colleagues in purchasing, finance, and core operations.
- Contributing to the development of working methods, templates, and guidelines within purchasing.
Within the Purchasing and Procurement Section, we work actively together to develop our purchasing activities. You will participate in the ongoing development of the section's working methods to ensure that SiS purchases goods and services in a correct, business-like, and efficient manner.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education with a focus on purchasing, logistics, procurement, or other education combined with experience assessed as equivalent.
- Experience in purchasing within the public sector.
- Experience working with framework agreements and direct procurements, as well as implementing these in the agency's e-commerce system.
- Good knowledge of the Public Procurement Act (LOU).
- Good communication skills in Swedish, both verbal and written.
Merits:
- Experience working closely with operations with varying needs.
- Experience in purchasing from a government agency.
To succeed in this role, you must be meticulous, structured, and responsible. You are service-oriented and thrive on supporting and guiding others. You drive your work forward independently, even with parallel assignments, and have a flexible approach when conditions change. You enjoy working both independently and in collaboration with colleagues who have different backgrounds and competencies.
At SiS, we value good employee relations. This means that as an employee, you take responsibility for your work, contribute to development, and participate in good collaboration. The position is a full-time temporary assignment for one year. Start date by agreement; we would prefer if you could start the position relatively soon.
You will work at the headquarters in Solna. Business travel is rare but may occur in exceptional cases, as we have operations across the country.
