Hello! Are you our new colleague?

We are currently looking for a substitute preschool teacher (barnskötare) for Lillsjöns preschool in Puolitkasvaara.

Job Responsibilities

As a preschool teacher, you will, together with the rest of the work team, carry out activities planned according to the Swedish National Curriculum for the Preschool (Lpfö).

Qualifications

As an educator, you should be responsible and have clear leadership skills within the group of children. You should find it easy to build good relationships with children, guardians, and colleagues. Commitment, solution-oriented thinking, flexibility, innovation, and strong collaboration skills are qualities we value highly. Personal suitability is of great importance. A preschool teacher education or equivalent competence is meritorious.

Gällivare Municipality is the administrative municipality for the Sami, Meänkieli, and Finnish languages according to the National Minorities Act. Knowledge of any of these languages is meritorious when applying for employment in Gällivare Municipality.

A certificate of no criminal record (extract from the Police Register) is required and must be obtained via Polisen.se. The certificate and professional credentials must be presented before employment begins.

Working Hours/Duration

Substitute position, full-time. Period: August 3, 2026 – December 31, 2026.

Salary

Monthly salary. Gällivare Municipality applies individual salary setting. Please state your salary expectations in your application.

Start Date/Application
