Psychologist for Rehabilitation Team for Children and Young People with Acquired Brain Injuries

Habiliteringscentrum is a county-level operation with approximately 170 employees located in Lycksele, Skellefteå, and Umeå. The organization's task is to contribute to good health and the best possible functional capacity, as well as good conditions for independent living and active participation in society for the children, young people, and adults we meet. The operation provides counseling and other personal support according to the LSS (Law on Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments), as well as habilitation for individuals with permanent disabilities and rehabilitation for individuals with long-term or permanent disabilities.
We are looking for you who want to become part of our rehabilitation team for children and young people with acquired brain injuries. The team is tasked with receiving specialist care referrals from the entire Northern Healthcare Region. The position is a fixed-term assignment of approximately six months.
You will become part of a competent work group with strong commitment to both the target group and each other, in an operation characterized by continuous learning.

Job Description
As a psychologist with us, you contribute to taking good care of others and helping people feel better.
The duties include neuropsychological assessment with action plans and counseling. You contribute your specific expertise in rehabilitation for children and young people with acquired brain injuries and their families, and together with the team, you are responsible for case management and method development. In addition to teamwork, consultation is provided in neuropsychological assessment and rehabilitation methodology to psychologists within Habiliteringscentrum and collaborating partners in other operations that encounter children with acquired brain injuries.
Work takes place in multidisciplinary teams with doctors, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, speech therapists, social workers, and special education teachers. Planning is done in collaboration with parents and the child/young person and their network.
Introduction to the work is adapted based on your previous experience and qualifications.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who are a licensed psychologist. It is meritorious if you have experience working with children and young people with acquired brain injuries and/or work within neurorehabilitation, habilitation, or child psychiatry.
Personal qualities that are highly valued include an interest in teamwork, good planning skills, and sensitivity to the needs of families.
Great importance will be attached to personal suitability.
