District Nurse/Registered Nurse at Boliden Health Center, Skellefteå
Region Västerbotten works to ensure that good health and sustainable development strengthen each other. We take responsibility for equal welfare and ensure that research and innovation yield results.
Within the Health and Medical Care Administration, primary care, dental care, and hospital care are united in a shared administration and organized into county and local healthcare areas. The Skellefteå local healthcare area includes the Emergency Department, the Medical and Geriatric Clinic, the Rehabilitation Center, the Psychiatric Clinic, 1177, the Center for Surgical Services, as well as primary care in Skellefteå and Norsjö. Together, these units strive to provide good and accessible care.
Skellefteå Primary Care's Western Base Unit consists of the health centers in Boliden, Erikslid, Heimdall, and Norsjö. Here, we work together to develop primary care.
Boliden Health Center, with approximately 3,000 registered patients, is located close to Skellefteå city center, just 25 minutes away. The town is growing due to its beautiful natural surroundings and proximity to Skellefteå. Despite its small size, the town offers essential community services such as a grocery store, school, library, health center, and swimming pool. The health center's responsibilities also include a family center and a branch in Jörn.
