The Psychiatric Clinic at Norrlands University Hospital in Umeå is the largest psychiatric clinic in Northern Sweden, with over 400 employees. We have three general psychiatric wards, forensic psychiatric services, and several specialized outpatient and treatment units.

We are looking for a nurse for the Neuropsychiatric Clinic, which is a psychiatric specialist care clinic that provides diagnosis and treatment for individuals aged 18 and older with neuropsychiatric diagnoses, where ADHD and autism are the largest patient groups. We work based on national care programs and with a team-based approach, providing the best conditions for good and safe care.

We work in modern, newly built premises. Here, nurses, social workers, care assistants, psychologists, doctors, medical secretaries, and occupational and physiotherapists work in close collaboration. With us, you will work daytime hours, Monday to Friday, in a nice and modern environment with friendly and competent colleagues.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a nurse with us, you will have a stimulating and varied job within both the clinic and the acute flow. The work is diverse and takes place in close collaboration with the other professions in the team. The patients' needs mean that we sometimes need to meet the patient at home or at other locations.

As a nurse with us, you contribute to taking good care of others and helping people feel better.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Assessing and planning care based on the patient's needs
• Following up and evaluating treatments and interventions
• Working in the acute patient flow at the clinic
• Contributing the somatic perspective to psychiatric care
• Collaborating with various partners in society
• Patient counseling and psychoeducation
• Contributing the nursing perspective to team work

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who have a warm personality and enjoy teamwork.

You are a licensed nurse. It is meritorious if you have specialist training in psychiatry, experience in clinic work, and experience working with individuals with neuropsychiatric disabilities.
