About the Operations

Hedemora Primary Health Care Centre is part of Region Dalarna and offers primary care to residents of Hedemora Municipality. We are a developing health centre with a clear focus on quality, continuity, and sustainable working methods.

We have approximately 9,300 registered patients and are part of the Southern Primary Care area, along with the health centres in Avesta and Långshyttan, youth clinics, and counseling services for children and young people.

Responsibilities

Hedemora Primary Health Care Centre is now seeking a First-Line Manager with a key role in developing operations and driving the transition towards good and accessible care.

As a First-Line Manager, you report directly to the Operations Manager and, together with your fellow First-Line Managers, form the leadership group for the Southern Primary Care area. You share personnel, budget, work environment, and operational responsibility with a colleague on-site and report directly to the Operations Manager.

The assignment involves a time-limited managerial appointment with a permanent position in the basic profession.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a confident and stable manager who thrives on challenges and wants to drive improvements in a constantly developing operation. You are communicative, structured, and enjoy being an present leader. The role requires you to work independently and be confident in making and anchoring decisions within the line organization. You can accept feedback and are comfortable standing firm in uncomfortable situations. You lead your employees through the transition to good and accessible care and view collaboration as a natural part of everyday life - both internally and with our partners.

Requirements:
  • University education within healthcare (e.g., nurse or physician)
  • Previous management experience
  • Category B driver's license
