Embedded Systems Developer, Consulting Assignment – Stockholm, Gothenburg, Linköping, Karlskoga or Lund

Our client develops advanced embedded electronics and software solutions at the forefront of technology. We are now looking for you who thrive in a consulting role and have experience in software development close to the hardware in complex systems.

In the role of Embedded Systems Developer, you will work on developing robust software in systems with high demands on performance and reliability, often in challenging environments.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop, integrate, and optimize embedded software in C/C++ for microcontrollers and specialized platforms
  • Participate in software architecture design and ensure interaction with hardware
  • Troubleshoot and debug at both software and hardware levels
  • Document code, design, and interfaces according to established guidelines
  • Work cross-functionally with electronic engineers, testers, and developers

Your Background

  • University degree or Master of Science in Computer Science, Electronics, Mechatronics, or similar
  • Extensive knowledge in embedded systems programming (C/C++)
  • Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS)
  • Experience in hardware-near programming and debugging
  • Structured work approach with a focus on quality and documentation
  • Good collaboration and communication skills

Merits

  • Knowledge in model-based development or signal processing
  • Experience from industries with high robustness requirements (automotive, medical technology, aerospace)
  • Experience with safety standards (e.g., MISRA C, ISO 26262)

About the Assignment

You will be hired to the customer through Intensogruppen. The assignment is also suitable for you with your own company.
