We are looking for a Project Engineer for an authority within the transport sector.

This is a consulting assignment. The location is Stockholm.

The position is full-time.

The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork.

The Assignment

As a Project Engineer, you will support project managers and design managers in the execution of complex infrastructure projects. The role includes project administration, planning, follow-up, economics, risk management, and coordination during both the design and construction phases. You work independently within your areas of responsibility and contribute to the project delivering according to set goals, requirements, and project methodology.

Responsibilities

• Administration in the project system and handling of permit issues such as land and building permits
• Creating presentation materials, documenting and minuting meetings
• Supporting the development of project plans, WBS, schedules, cost estimates, and procurement documents
• Compiling materials for status reporting and following up on project risks
• Leading selected meetings and workshops
• Handling ÄTA (Additional Work, Changes, and Claims), questions and answers during the construction period, and coordinating communication with contractors
• Participating in economic and construction meetings and following up on contract work as support to the project manager
• Supporting the project's construction management in questions related to production and execution

Requirements (OBS, mandatory)

• At least three years of engineering or economics education at university level. (YH not accepted)
• At least two years of work experience in administrative project work/economic follow-up. The experience can have been gained in roles such as project engineer, contracting engineer, foreman, accounting consultant, or project assistant.
• At least two years of documented work experience in independently performing qualified tasks within projects, economics, or analysis. The experience must have been acquired within the last five years.
• Experience in writing meeting minutes & economic follow-up from at least two assignments.
• Fluent Swedish in speech and writing.

Preferred Qualifications

• Documented education in contracting law.
• Work experience with infrastructure or construction projects larger than 50M SEK in an urban environment from at least one assignment.
• Documented project management education.
