My name is Kristina Larsson and I am the Head of Department for Surgery at Aleris Elisabethsjukhuset in Uppsala.

We are currently in the midst of an exciting development journey. Starting in May, we have received an expanded mandate from Region Uppsala and are growing significantly. This means more patients, more colleagues, and great opportunities to build something truly excellent together.

I am now looking for you who are an anesthetist nurse and thrive with responsibility, independence, and close collaboration.

Here, you will work independently with your patients and utilize your full competence. Our anesthesiologists are always available for support when needed, but we are looking for someone who is confident in their professional role and enjoys the freedom to drive the work forward themselves.

We are a small and very nice team that enjoys working together. There is a lot of warmth, humor, and helpfulness here. At the same time, we are in a transition phase where we are building new processes, developing ways of working, and shaping the future of our operations together.

We are currently testing a 37-hour work week This is something we are very proud of. Here you work primarily during daytime hours with some evening shifts Monday–Friday, while maintaining a full-time salary. We are testing shorter working hours to create a better balance between work and recovery.

About you I believe you are a person who likes responsibility and thrives in an operation where people help each other and solve things together.

You are a licensed nurse with specialist education in anesthesiology and have at least two years of experience as an anesthetist nurse. Experience in orthopedics or postoperative care is meritorious, but the most important thing for me is that you are confident, independent, unpretentious, and want to build the future together with us.
