We welcome your application to become part of our team.

Do you want to work in a department where your skills make a real difference — every day?

We are now looking for an Anesthesia Nurse for our orthopedic surgical department. Here, you will work in an experienced and engaged team where quality, patient safety, and collaboration are central parts of daily life.

This is a position for you who want to combine highly specialized care with a sustainable work life, collegial support, and the opportunity to be involved in the continued development of the department.

Our Department

The orthopedic surgical department covers both planned and emergency surgery. Here you will encounter a department with high competence, clear workflows, and close collaboration between different professions. We work together to create safe, secure, and person-centered care for every patient.

At our department, the work environment is important. We know that good care is created by employees who have the right conditions to do a good job. Therefore, we actively work on developing working methods, planning, and teamwork to create a sustainable and well-functioning department.

Your Role

As an Anesthesia Nurse, you have a central role in perioperative care. Together with the other professions in the team, you are responsible for planning and carrying out anesthesiological nursing in connection with surgery.

Your tasks include, among other things:

  • planning and administering anesthesia before and during surgery
  • monitoring the patient's vital functions and contributing to safe and secure perioperative care
  • collaborating closely with anesthesiologists, operating room nurses, nursing assistants, and other colleagues in the team
  • participating in quality and improvement work within the department
  • contributing to the development of routines, working methods, and a good work environment
  • assisting in the introduction and supervision of students and new employees as needed

The work is varied and requires clinical judgment, structure, and the ability to adapt to different situations.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

  • is a registered nurse with specialist education in anesthesia care
  • has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

Experience from surgical operations and/or orthopedic surgery is meritorious, but we also welcome those who are earlier in their specialist role and wish to continue developing in a secure and competent environment.

Your Competence

We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

To thrive with us, we believe you are a person who works systematically, takes responsibility, and has a professional approach when meeting both patients and colleagues. You have good collaboration skills, contribute to a good work climate, and see the value in working together for the patient's best interest.

We are looking for someone who wants to be an active part of a team where knowledge is shared, questions are encouraged, and development is a natural part of the work.

We Offer

With us, you will work in a department where both the patient mission and the employees' work environment are taken seriously. We offer:

  • an experienced and well-functioning team with high competence
  • close collaboration between professions where everyone contributes to the whole
  • an introduction adapted to your experience and competence
  • opportunities for learning, development, and involvement in improvement work
  • a workplace focused on quality, structure, and sustainable working methods
  • good opportunities to influence and be part of the department's continued development
