Are you an experienced Project Engineer with a background in railways, electrical power, or large-scale infrastructure projects? Do you want to work in a complex client organization where you can combine project management, technology, and coordination in long-term investment projects? Then this might be your next assignment.
We are now looking for a Project Engineer who wants to take a central role in the development of future public transport and railway infrastructure. You will support project and construction management in administrative, technical, and economic matters, contributing to driving projects forward according to set goals, requirements, and schedules.
About the assignmentAs a Project Engineer, you will become an important part of the project organization and work closely with project managers, construction managers, and technical specialists. The role involves significant responsibility for follow-up, documentation, coordination, and quality assurance in ongoing investment projects.
ResponsibilitiesSupport project management in project control and follow-up
Administer the project's document management and information flows
Perform cost follow-up and compile economic basis documents
Participate in planning, coordination, and follow-up of project activities
Prepare and quality-assure decision support materials for project and steering group meetings
Participate in technical review of documents, documentation, and deliveries
Create meeting materials, minutes, and decision documents
Handle contract documentation and the project's PM flows
Ensure structure, traceability, and quality in the project's documentation
We are looking for someone who:
Has participated in at least two procurements as a client-side project engineer in the public sector according to LOU or LUF, where contracts were signed according to AB, ABT, or ABK.
Has at least three years of experience as a project engineer or contracting engineer in projects with multiple collaborating parties.
Has at least two years of experience in requirement management and/or documentation using established requirement management tools.
Has supported construction management in at least two projects with technical review, economic review, and ÄTA (Additional Work/Change Order) handling.
Has experience in administering, documenting, and delivering minutes, contract documents, and decision documents.
Has an engineering education of at least two years or a University College Degree (YH) in Electrical Power Engineering or Railway Technology.
Experience working with or administering Bluebeam or similar tools in at least two projects.

You are accustomed to taking responsibility, creating order, and contributing to the progress of projects.
Timeline and scope
Start: 2026-08-17 – 2028-08-17 with possibility of extension.
Assignment scope: 40 hours per week.
Location
The assignment currently allows for both remote work and on-site work at the office in Stockholm. Days and times for this are determined based on organizational needs and with the client's approval.
