ABOUT THE COMPANY

Stans & Press i Olofström AB is a workshop company specializing in contract manufacturing of qualified components in small to medium series, primarily for international customers, with the automotive industry representing a significant portion.

We currently have over 50 employees at our production units in Vilshult and Kallinge. In Vilshult, where the majority of our staff work, we perform tasks such as laser cutting, pressing, welding, CNC machining, and assembly. In Kallinge, we are fully focused on waterjet cutting.

We now need to complement our team on the Laser Department with two new employees.

ABOUT THE POSITION

You will be part of a team of six people rotating between our two 2D fiber laser machines. These are Bystronic brand machines with power outputs between 6 and 12 kW, two of which include material handling systems. We use PMC technology for sheet preparation. In addition to operating the machines, your tasks include:

• Preventive maintenance.
• Quality control of materials and finished parts.
• Simple program changes and parameter adjustments.
• Reporting in business and maintenance systems (Monitor ERP/Tekla).
• Material handling with counterbalance forklifts.
• Handling sheet metal with cranes/Telfers.
• Packing articles according to packing instructions.
• During longer cutting plans, other tasks may arise, such as pinning and work at the department's deburring and punching machines.

YOUR BACKGROUND

You have workshop experience, a technical high school education or equivalent knowledge and experience, and a valid forklift license.

You need to have basic knowledge of metrology and reading technical drawings, as well as an understanding of dimensional accuracy, tolerances, and material quality. You also need good Swedish language skills and experience working in business and maintenance systems.

Experience as a laser operator and knowledge within CNC are considered a strong advantage.

INFORMATION

The position is permanent with immediate start as agreed. Probation period applies.

Working hours are in two shifts, but night shifts may occur.
