Do you want to work with qualified welding in a modern production environment? We are now looking for an experienced and meticulous flux-cored arc welder with competence in manual welding.

Your role

As a welder with us, you work with flux-cored arc welding of larger structures. The work is carried out both manually and in collaboration with a welding crane, which ensures high precision and consistent quality for long weld seams. This method contributes to increased productivity, improved welding quality, and a safe working environment.

As a welder, you will encounter a variety of special steels used in submarine manufacturing. Your profile

Requirements

• Experience with manual welding methods 141, 136
• Good reading skills for technical drawings
• Good understanding of welding processes and welding quality
• Vocational upper secondary education in industrial technology

Merits

• Experience with mechanized welding
• Experience with FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding)
• Experience with larger and heavier structures
• Previous work in the shipbuilding industry or other heavy welding industries.

The position requires you to undergo and pass security clearance checks according to current regulations. For positions where Saab requires security classification, this may, in some cases, entail citizenship requirements.
