About the company

Our client in Sölvesborg is in an expansion phase and needs to strengthen their production unit with a foundry worker. The company we are helping to recruit for is a reliable contract manufacturer of complete systems. In Sweden, the 5,000 m² facility is located in Sölvesborg. Here, approx. 50 employees work with die casting, machining, surface treatment, and assembly. With a unique concept, they control the entire chain, from the manufacture of mold tools to the delivery of complete systems, in small and large quantities. The client's products can be found, among other things, in the medical technology sector and with manufacturers of professional equipment for restaurants and large kitchens.

Your responsibilities

Your main tasks will consist of running the machines, preparing and melting materials, and performing control measurements and adjustments on parts. You will work with both small and large tools. The work also includes operating overhead cranes. Working hours are scheduled for 2-shift or permanent night shift.

Your background and skills

We are looking for you who have a workshop technical education and/or a few years of work experience in the field. You have a technical interest and a willingness to learn. To succeed in the role, we believe you have a genuine interest in machinery. If you tinker and fix things in your spare time, it is a plus. As a person, you are self-reliant, while also having the ability to work in a team. You have a high work ethic and are engaged. It is important that you are meticulous and take responsibility for your own work efforts. You also have good knowledge of the Swedish language. It is an advantage if you have a forklift license and crane operator certificate.

The employment begins with a fixed-term contract of 6 months with us at Wikan Personal, expected to transition to employment with our client. Start date is by agreement.
