We are now looking for CNC Operators for our unique production of the latest technology in submarines and surface ships, at one of the world's most modern shipyards.

Your Role

As a CNC Operator, you will work with:

• Bed milling
• Floor milling
• Vertical boring mills

The work includes job lot machining and new manufacturing. You are responsible for programming, setup, and operation of machines, as well as quality assurance according to drawings.

The work covers both large components and one-off production; occasionally, assignments involve repairing or modifying existing components.

You will become part of a competent team where collaboration, precision, and technical expertise are crucial for the final result.

Your Profile

To succeed in this role, we see that you are cooperative, solution-oriented, and meticulous.

Requirements:

• CNC education
• Previous experience working with any of the following machine types: bed milling, floor milling, or vertical boring mills.
• Good skills in reading technical drawings
• Experience in setting up and rigging machines
• Experience in machining large components
• Experience with Heidenhain
• Experience with Mastercam
• Experience in one-off production is an advantage
• Ability and willingness to work in a two-shift system.

The position requires you to undergo and pass the security clearance checks applicable at the time. For positions where Saab requires security classification, this may, in some cases, entail citizenship requirements.
