We are now looking for CNC operators for our unique production of the latest technology in submarines and surface vessels, at one of the world's most modern shipyards.

Your Role

As a CNC operator, you will work with:

• Bed milling
• Floor milling
• Vertical boring mills

The work involves job lot machining, new manufacturing, and you are responsible for programming, setup, and operation of machines as well as quality assurance according to drawings.

The work covers both large components and one-off production. Sometimes the assignment involves repairing or modifying existing components.

You will become part of a competent team where collaboration, precision, and technical expertise are crucial for the final result.

Your Profile

To succeed in the role, we see that you are cooperative, solution-oriented, and meticulous.

Requirements

• CNC education
• Previous experience working with any of the following machine types: bed milling, floor milling, or vertical boring mills.
• Good knowledge of reading technical drawings
• Experience in setting up and rigging machines
• Experience in machining large components
• Experience with Heidenhain
• Experience with Mastercam
• Experience with one-off production is an advantage
• Ability and willingness to work in a two-shift system.

The position requires you to undergo and pass the security clearance checks according to current regulations. For positions where Saab requires security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for specific citizenship.
