Our extrusion line in Karlskrona is expanding its team and is now looking for machine operators who want to work for a global company and contribute to the green transition.

Shift work with problem-solving and a strong focus on quality and safety
As a machine operator, you handle all tasks within your area of responsibility – from preparation and setting up the next production run to execution and follow-up. Together with your team, you ensure that production runs as planned and guarantee quality at every step. You enjoy tinkering and adjusting when needed, as well as facing problems that need to be solved quickly. Safety is number one and permeates everything we do.

The work will be carried out on a 5-shift rotation, involving varied working hours including days, nights, and weekends.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Preparation and setup of machinery and equipment
• Process control
• Quality assurance
• Material handling
• Collaboration with other shifts and support departments such as production technology, quality, and project departments

Curious, engaged, and meticulous
To thrive here, you should be curious, engaged, and have a desire to develop according to set goals. The role requires you to follow given instructions and document completed work according to current procedures. Structure and attention to detail characterize your work, while discipline and adaptability match your personal traits. A large part of the tasks are manual, requiring you to be technically knowledgeable and precise. To succeed in this role, you must be comfortable handling changes with short notice and enjoy working both in a team and independently.

In addition to the above, you should have the following experience:

• Technical background, at least upper secondary education level
• A few years of experience working in industry
• Fluent in Swedish and English (both written and spoken)
• Comfortable working at heights
• Comfortable working in elevator environments
