A role with broad responsibilities

Routine testing is performed on all cables produced within the company, and the shift pattern applied is a 5-shift system. Responsibilities within the department include routine testing of land cables (high voltage testing, AC and DC), routine testing of submarine cables, fiber measurements, connections, and impulse tests. As a technician, you will work with both assembly and advanced measurements. In addition to collaborating with your colleagues, you will have significant individual responsibility and the opportunity to drive your work forward.

Your tasks will include, among other things:

• Test connections
• Assembly of cable accessories
• Quality assurance of our delivery cables
• Various electrical measurements

Since we perform a wide variety of electrical tests on cables and accessories, there are great opportunities to try and learn other tasks within the department.

Key requirements for the position are:

• Technical interest
• Fluency in Swedish and English

Merits for the position include:

• Upper secondary education in electrical engineering or similar
• Previous experience as an electrician and/or telecom technician
