Do you enjoy motivating and engaging others? At Bambi, we are looking for substitutes and companions for children, young people, and young adults with functional variations.

As a substitute or companion, you will have the opportunity to support and contribute to a meaningful leisure time and increased well-being. Currently, we are primarily looking for individuals with a pedagogical inclination, experience with NPD (Neurodevelopmental Disorders) diagnoses, and confidence in your ability to provide support to others. Additionally, we welcome those interested in animals and nature, exercise, and mathematics. Or do you have a special interest that you wish to share with others? At Bambi, we are looking for you who can engage long-term during your studies or alongside part-time work. We offer induction and competence development to provide our employees and the individuals we support with the security to develop together.

The work is well-suited as extra work, as we have assignments ranging from 4 to 16 hours per month, including afternoons, evenings, and weekends.

As a substitute within Bambi, you are expected to take the initiative in pedagogical and stimulating activities. Substitute service aims to relieve relatives regarding the care of the child with a disability and enable recovery.

As a companion within Bambi, you support young people in participating in activities and community life. Companion service aims to prevent and break isolation for young people with disabilities and enable an active leisure time.

You do not need previous experience in the profession, but it is a plus if you have experience with children or people with disabilities. As an employee at Bambi, you will have the opportunity for regular competence development and supervision, as we want you to feel secure in your role.

Salary

Individual salary setting. Hourly/monthly salary. Collective agreement: KFO-Kommunal. You will also be offered induction, wellness benefits, supervision, and continuous competence development.

Start Date

According to agreement. We call for interviews on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the application deadline.

To be employed as a substitute or companion, you must have a valid extract from the criminal record. The police processing time can be up to two weeks – order your record extract as soon as possible.
