Assistant Nurses Needed for Specialized Housing in Långshyttan

Hedemora Municipality is currently seeking four assistant nurses for a position at our specialized housing facility, Granen, located in Långshyttan. The role as an assistant nurse involves both practical and developmental tasks within healthcare and social care.

Your Responsibilities

The daily work includes direct nursing care such as personal hygiene, dressing, meals, and support in daily life, as well as delegated health and medical care tasks. A key part of the role is caring for the elderly residents. You will work with nursing care and activities to ensure a pleasant and good daily life for the residents.

The assistant nurse's role also includes knowledge development together with colleagues, utilizing well-being factors. Everyone working at Granen supports each other to contribute to continuous improvement in the operations. Team meetings and work with systematic follow-up and digital tools are part of everyday life for everyone in the facility.

Your assignment is to ensure that nursing-related processes are followed, and to feel confident in your role as an assistant nurse regarding value-based work, professional, and high-quality nursing care. Staff work based on the individual's specific needs. The goal of the role is to ensure care for each individual user.

What We Offer

• Salary: Monthly salary.
• Working hours: Shift schedule (day, evening, weekend, night).
• Start date: September. Probation period may apply.

Qualifications and Merits

We are looking for you who are educated as an assistant nurse or have equivalent education. It is an advantage if you have experience working in specialized housing as well as experience with similar tasks. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability, where qualities such as sensitivity, initiative-taking, flexibility, and independence are valued.

You should have good communication skills and computer literacy. A certificate from the Swedish Police Authority (extract from the criminal record) is required for employment.
