About the role
As an employee, you represent Hornbach and serve as a role model in terms of engagement, drive, and service. As a Team Leader, you have overall responsibility for the daily operations within your team. In this role, you are responsible for the goods dispatch area as well as the web warehouse.
Key responsibilities
- Together with your colleagues, you will process customer orders from picking to dispatch. This involves compiling orders, checking goods, and packing deliveries according to defined standards.
- Your duties also include planning staffing levels and mentoring your employees regarding processes and standards.
- You ensure that quality, performance, and cost targets are met, and continuously monitor that all available processes are functioning and being further developed.
Your profile
- Previous leadership experience is an advantage.
- Experience in logistics within a retail company or another comparable logistics firm.
- Relevant experience in sales and advisory roles within the construction or retail sector.
- Strong administrative skills.
- A strong sense of service and customer orientation, along with sales knowledge.
- You are passionate about sales, detail-oriented, and solution-focused.
- Ability to analyze and evaluate relevant key performance indicators (KPIs) to initiate appropriate improvement measures.
- Proficiency in Excel is required.
- Strong communication skills.
- Valid forklift license (A1-A4 & B1-B4) is required.
- Valid B driver's license is required.

Working hours/Duration: Permanent position. Full-time, 38.25 hours/week. Working days are Monday–Friday.
Salary: Salary according to collective agreement.
Start date: August 24, 2026, or as agreed.
