ABOUT THE POSITION

We at Assistanslotsen are looking for you who want to work as a personal assistant at approx. 50% for our female client in Lithuania.

The working hours are scheduled as follows:

  • 08:00–18:00

Start date is in early June, so we would appreciate it if you could start your introduction as soon as possible.

ABOUT THE CLIENT

The client is a woman in her 70s with a great interest in nature, gardening, animals, walking, and cooking. Our client needs your help as an assistant in her daily life as she has Parkinson's disease.

Duties include:

  • Support with daily routines, such as household chores

  • Help with personal hygiene and dressing/undressing

  • Stretching

We are looking for you who are passionate about working with people and can analyze the needs of other individuals. Furthermore, you should be attentive, proactive, solution-focused, and engaged. We prefer that you are a calm person, and personal suitability is highly valued.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Driver's license and access to a car

  • Tolerance for fur-bearing animals (Cat lives in the home, dogs visit often)

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in personal assistance/other care work

Employment level: 1 permanent position at approx. 50%.

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with the collective agreement.

To be employed by us at Assistanslotsen, you need to have a BankID and agree to use your BankID in the role. A prerequisite for starting employment with us is that you, as the applicant, can present a valid ID document and/or submit a certificate of personal registration (personbevis) as well as any documents proving the right to work in Sweden. You can easily download the certificate of personal registration from the Swedish Tax Agency's website. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you are required to present an extract from the criminal record. From March 1, 2026, new regulations will apply meaning that the register check will include both an extract from the criminal record and an extract from the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Swedish Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so it is advisable to order well in advance.
