ABOUT THE POSITION
We at Assistanslotsen are currently looking for a personal assistant for one of our clients in Nälden, approximately 30 km west of Östersund. The position is approximately 90% and involves working during day and evening shifts, both on weekdays and weekends. Start date is by agreement.
Working Hours:
Weekdays: 07:00–20:00
Weekends: 10:00–20:00
ABOUT THE CLIENT
Our client is a 20-year-old young woman who enjoys spending time with her family, watching movies, and taking walks. She uses a wheelchair and needs support with all aspects of her daily life. This means that as her personal assistant, you will help her with transfers, personal hygiene, showering, dressing and undressing, meals, and exercise. On weekdays, you will also accompany her to school. As a personal assistant, you will have an important and meaningful role where you contribute to creating security, participation, and a functional daily life for her.

REQUIREMENTS
Valid driver's license
Access to a car
Not allergic to pets
Non-smoker
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in personal assistance or other care experience
Care education or equivalent
Employment Level: 1 position at approximately 90%.
Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other benefits in accordance with the collective agreement.

A prerequisite for starting employment with us is that you, as an applicant, can present a valid ID document and/or submit a certificate of personal data (personbevis) as well as any documents proving your right to work in Sweden. You can easily download the certificate of personal data from the Swedish Tax Agency's website. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
If you are to work with children and young people under 18, you are required to present an extract from the criminal record. From March 1, 2026, new regulations will apply, meaning the register check will include both extracts from the criminal record and extracts from the suspicion register. The extract is ordered via the Police Authority's e-service. Note that processing times may vary, so it is advisable to order well in advance.
