About the position

Personal assistance is a measure under the LSS Act (The Support and Service Act for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). In your role as a personal assistant, you will mainly help the customer with everything that arises in daily life as well as with basic needs. Your work involves safeguarding the customer's self-determination and integrity, and contributing to a smooth daily routine. Each assistance is uniquely adapted to the customer's life, and therefore tasks may vary depending on the workplace.

The customer is a 37-year-old woman living in Landskrona who needs help in her daily life due to her muscle disease. The work may include help with transfers, personal care, as well as household chores and activities in and outside the home.

Our customer has an active leisure time, and some of her major interests are stage poetry, photography, attending concerts, socializing with friends, and traveling. Our customer enjoys a mix of excitement and activity or a quiet day at home.

Who are you?

The role of personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is sensitive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done. To thrive as a personal assistant, it is important that there is good personal chemistry between you as the assistant and the customer.

Our customer is looking for someone who is gentle, calm, and stable, and who is confident in the role of personal assistant and in themselves.

Requirements for the position:

  • good physical fitness and at least 167 cm in height (to handle transfers)

  • able to travel with the customer

  • swimming skills

  • no fur allergy, as a dog is sometimes present at the workplace

Merits for the position:

  • previous experience working in healthcare/care or personal assistance

  • previous experience with lifting techniques and transfers

  • experience with similar work with customers who have full verbal and cognitive abilities

  • high understanding of customer participation and user influence in assistance

Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, degree of employment, and salary

The current form of employment is "hourly employment," which means working as needed with varying working hours during the day, evening, and night. Working hours are 08:00-15:00, 14:30-22:45, and 22:45-08:00, but other times may occur in cases of double assistance or special activities. The assistance runs 24/7, and all working time is active, even at night.

Fixed hourly wage by agreement and other benefits according to collective agreement.

Start date: Immediately or by agreement.
