As an employee in the staffing unit, you are a key resource who steps in when regular staff is absent. You are booked based on emerging needs, which means you may be called in with short notice or take on longer-term substitute positions at a preschool. You will work at several of our preschools, both in central Hässleholm and in our surrounding suburbs. The municipality offers preschools with different pedagogical approaches as well as out-of-hours (OB) operations.

Together with the work team, you conduct pedagogical activities according to the Swedish National Agency for Education's curriculum for preschools and support children in their development and learning. You actively participate in children's daily routines through play, meals, group gatherings, and outdoor activities.

The staffing unit is in an exciting phase of development, which means that as a staffing resource, you may also become relevant for needs within the primary school sector in the future.

Who are you?

We welcome your application if you are a trained preschool assistant (barnskötare) and are open to working at various preschools in Hässleholm Municipality. You have experience working with children and are familiar with our guiding documents. We would appreciate it if you have experience working with children with neuropsychological disabilities, as well as healthcare training and/or experience/training regarding diabetes.

You have the ability to see each child's strengths, needs, and interests. You are a person who values human equality, respects every individual, and sees differences as an asset for both large and small individuals. With your curiosity, flexibility, and commitment, you contribute to a positive atmosphere and good collaboration within the work team.

To thrive in this role, you need to appreciate variety and be comfortable taking on work shifts with short notice. Since assignments may be at different preschools in the municipality, you must also have a driver's license and access to a car.

The position is a needs-based employment on an hourly basis.

About Us

The Child and Education Administration is responsible for the municipality's preschools, primary schools, upper secondary schools, adapted schools, and cultural schools. We work together to create a learning environment where children, students, and employees succeed and become their best selves. The administration's mission is to coordinate, plan, and support the various operations, as well as work for coordination between school and working life.

The staffing unit within the Child and Education Administration consists of a unit manager, administrators, preschool assistants, preschool teachers, and preschool assistant aides. We staff the preschools when there is a need for both short-term and long-term substitutes due to regular staff absence or temporary needs.
