Do you want to contribute to helping more residents find employment and assist employers in finding the competence they need?

The Employment and Integration Unit is looking for two supervisors to support unemployed residents in achieving self-sufficiency. The focus is on work and studies, and your role will be to help individuals find their own path to independence.

About the position

• Support and guide residents receiving financial assistance with the aim of them becoming self-sufficient.
• The focus is on meetings and contact with residents, but the role also requires some documentation and follow-up.
• Carry out individual-focused interventions and group activities related to activity requirements.
• Collaborate both within the municipality and with external partners such as the Swedish Public Employment Service, healthcare providers, and employers.

Are you the one we are looking for?

• Requirements: Valid driver's license (Category B).
• We are looking for you who are a social worker, study and career counselor, behavioral scientist, or have other education that the employer deems equivalent.
• You have experience working with this target group and are accustomed to working both independently and in collaboration. Experience collaborating with other authorities, e.g., the Swedish Public Employment Service, the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, and healthcare.
• You have at least two years of full-time work experience.
• Merits: Experience working with long-term unemployed or long-term sick-listed individuals, as well as knowledge regarding mental health and illness.
• We prefer that you have training in or acquired competence in motivational or coaching conversations, as well as experience working with work-oriented rehabilitation, Supported Employment, IPS, MI, or similar methods.
• You are experienced in collaborating with employers, within the public sector but especially with employers in the private sector. Strong ability to build relationships and networks.
• It is an advantage if you have experience in securing internship and work training placements.
