Do you want to be part of the ground-up development of our new technical operations? The municipalities of Töreboda and Gullspång are now seeking a driven and engaged employee for our Roads/Parks/Water & Sewerage unit. You will take responsibility for the operation and maintenance of our roads, parks, green areas, and our water & sewerage network, contributing to a sustainable, safe, and pleasant society.

Job Responsibilities

As operational staff within Roads/Parks, you will work with the operation and maintenance of the municipality's outdoor environments, such as roads, parks, and public spaces. Operational tasks on our utility network may also occur.

Your tasks will include, but are not limited to:

• Maintenance of our roads and streets
• Maintenance of green areas and public spaces
• Winter road maintenance
• Summer cleaning (barmarksrenhållning)
• Maintenance and minor repairs of machinery
• Operational tasks on the utility network, e.g., routine flushing and water meter replacements

Scheduled on-call duty is included in the position. During on-call periods, other tasks may arise, such as water leaks and sewage blockages.

Qualifications

Relevant education for the tasks or experience and familiarity with similar tasks.

We look for candidates with good experience in the field, strong teamwork skills, and a sense of responsibility to ensure tasks are performed correctly and contribute to the development of operations. As we are a small organization, tasks vary, and quick reprioritizations may occur during the day.

Requirements:

• Full Category B driver's license (mandatory)
• Category BE or C driver's license (meritorious)

Salary and Employment

As operational staff in Roads/Parks/Water & Sewerage, you can expect a salary between 30,000 – 33,000 SEK, depending on experience and competence. Individual salary setting applies. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.

Interviews and selections are conducted on an ongoing basis.
