Stall Adams Equestrian Club is Hiring an Operations Manager!

Stall Adams Equestrian Club is a non-profit association offering riding lessons for children, youth, and adults. The club was founded in 2010, but the active riding school operations have been running since 2025. We are therefore in a startup phase, focusing on building a strong community and expanding our activities. The club currently has approximately 180 members and 125 riding sessions per week.

In our riding school, students ride at all levels, from beginners to dressage and jumping specialists. We operate six days a week and also organize other activities such as riding camps, courses, trail rides, and club competitions.

We are located in the scenic area of Skändla, between Tuve and Säve on Hisingen, Gothenburg.

The facility includes a stable with 30 boxes, a lighted indoor arena (20x40 meters), a paddock, and beautiful trail riding paths in Skändla. There are also plans to build a cross-country course later this year.

We are looking for someone eager to join from the beginning and develop the operations together with an engaged board. You have the horses, members, and students at the center of your focus. You care deeply about the well-being of the horses and ensuring their natural behaviors and needs are met. We seek someone who is humble, possesses strong leadership skills, has good pedagogical abilities, and is not afraid to roll up their sleeves when needed. You understand that riding school horses require further training, maintenance, and variety to thrive. You likely have several years of experience in riding school operations and are educated in equine studies. You work independently, take initiative to solve problems, can lead a team, and ensure everyone has a voice.

Your main responsibilities:

• Lead and inspire our team – personnel management and supervision
• Daily care of horses
• Stable and facility maintenance
• Conduct riding lessons and contribute to the development of horses and riders
• Ensure a safe working environment and the best possible horse welfare
• Further training of riding school horses
• Administrative work related to the operations

We are looking for someone who:

• Has excellent social skills
• Is structured, communicative, and thrives in collaboration
• Is educated as a Hippologist, Riding Instructor, or has equivalent knowledge
• Has experience in personnel management
• Has a genuine interest in developing and improving operations
• Advantageous: Experience with the riding school system Xenophon
• Advantageous: Experience from riding school operations

About the position:

• Scope: Up to 100% (possibility of part-time from 75%)
• Start: According to agreement
• Location: Gothenburg, Stall Adams Equestrian Club
• Employment type: We are open to both employment and F-tax invoice. Probation period applies.

• The work involves working weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
