LetsGig AB is now looking for responsible and service-oriented individuals for assignments within park and outdoor area maintenance in Lerum Municipality.

This is a practical, varied, and important job where you contribute to keeping the municipality's parks, green areas, playgrounds, walkways, and public outdoor spaces beautiful, safe, and pleasant for residents.

The need is greatest during peak season until October, but assignments may also occur during holidays, sick leave, courses, evenings, and weekends. The assignments may vary in scope, and the need can sometimes arise with short notice.

Extension possible for the entire season

This assignment suits you who want to quickly get into practical outdoor work. The assignment is extended one month at a time until Sept/Oct depending on how well the work goes. A person who functions well with the municipality will be able to be on site for the entire season.

We are clear about this from the beginning because we want to find the right people: you who see monthly extensions as an opportunity to show what you are made of, build experience, and get continued work when the need arises. For the right person, there are good opportunities to become a recurring resource in the assignment.

Job Responsibilities

The tasks may include among other things:

• Maintenance of parks, green areas, playgrounds, and walkways
• Grass mowing
• Planting
• Weed control
• Sweeping and simple cleaning
• Irrigation
• Simple maintenance of outdoor areas
• Other usual tasks within park operations

For some assignments, it may also be relevant to work as a machine operator, for example driving park machinery or ride-on mowers.

We are looking for you who

You should have:

• At least a high school diploma or equivalent, for example YH education
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Good teamwork skills
• Good initiative
• Sense of responsibility and attention to detail
• Service orientation, as you may meet the municipality's residents in daily work
• Ability to quickly get into new tasks
• Good physical fitness and willingness to work outdoors in varying weather

Merits

It is meritorious if you have:

• APV (Work on the road) – Otherwise, we cover the cost for the right person so you can read it online in one day.
• Previous experience with park maintenance, green area maintenance, gardening, property maintenance, or similar
• Experience with mowing, weed control, planting, or irrigation
• Experience with ride-on mowers or other park machinery
• Driver's license category B
• Availability to start immediately
• Availability to work the entire season until September/October
