AkSe Gårdsprodukter operates Månsholmen Farm in Norra Vånga, where the Varas plain ends and the rolling landscapes of the Falbygden region begin. The production includes crop farming, vegetable production, and beef cattle breeding.

The crop farming covers approximately 300 hectares of conventionally cultivated land, including winter wheat, rapeseed, rye, barley, oats, and ley.

The beef cattle breeding consists of a herd of approximately 90 breeding cows managed on a ranch basis, as well as 150 dairy calves purchased in the autumn for rearing in barns.

We are looking for a positive and proactive farm worker who wants to help develop our agricultural business. You will work both as a machine operator and an animal caretaker.

The work involves operating machinery in crop farming, as well as servicing and repairing equipment as needed. During the crop farming season, the main tasks include tractor driving for harrowing, plowing, sowing, fertilizing, threshing, and harvesting ley. Some periods may be intensive with weekend and evening work, but this is compensated with quieter periods in between. Maintenance and preventive upkeep are carried out during the winter months.

Planning and strategies for the crop farming season are developed together with advisors.

The work as an animal caretaker includes daily care and feeding of breeding cows and calves in the fields, as well as responsibility for rearing young cattle in our barns. Good animal handling skills and a strong sense of responsibility are important.

The position is full-time (100%).

Education in agriculture is meritorious but not a requirement. You must have a Category B driver's license and access to your own car, as there is no other public transportation to our farm.

Our farm is located in Norra Vånga, midway between Vara and Falköping.
