We are now looking for dedicated assistant nurses for the Home Care Area East in Lund! Here you will work closely with people, create security, and contribute to older people living an independent life at home. You will become part of an engaged team where care and quality are in focus.

About the role and your tasks

Your work is driven by the needs of the individuals. A working day may consist of providing support and help with personal care, care work, medical interventions delegated by a nurse, and other assistance needed by the person you support. Documentation is done in Lifecare. Your role also includes contributing to the development of the operations and maintaining good quality.

Within home care, you work only day or evening shifts. Working hours are generally scheduled between 07:00–15:30 and 14:00–23:00. The work involves working every other weekend.

With us, you have the opportunity to work in different roles. As a permanent care contact, you have a special responsibility for your users. You create and follow up on implementation plans. Our staff is organized in smaller teams where 2–3 permanent care contacts, together with a runner, are responsible for a group of users. The work is done in close collaboration, and if necessary, runners support other users outside their own group. As a resource, you work flexibly across several home care areas. You step in where the need is greatest and contribute with security, warmth, and care to people who really need it.

We are looking for someone who

• is trained as an assistant nurse
• can and wants to cycle
• has a good command of the Swedish language, both spoken and written
• has good digital competence

Experience of working within care is an advantage.

About the workplace

Lund Municipality's Home Care Area East consists of 4 units. On each unit, assistant nurses and care assistants work in teams with health and social care personnel under the leadership of the unit manager. Each unit also includes a unit administrator, coordinator, and planner.
