We are now looking for you who want to work in our marketing and booking department located in Björkliden. We are looking for you who put the guest at the center and take responsibility for the entire customer journey, while being business-minded and understanding the importance of professional treatment.
For nature and adventure travelers seeking authentic mountain experiences beyond the major tourist flows, Lapland Resorts is a unique combination of three iconic places – Riksgränsen, Björkliden, and Låktatjåkko. Together, and individually, they offer nature-based experiences year-round in one of Europe's last wilderness areas.
Your main responsibilities
In booking and sales, you will have contact with our group and conference guests, international agents, travel agencies, and private guests. In addition to common booking tasks, you will work with sales directly targeting groups, conferences, weddings, etc.
>The role also involves proactive sales work, both physical and digital, as well as drawing up contracts with business partners and potential new collaborations. In connection with this, you will have the opportunity to help develop attractive packages adapted to each customer group. You are expected to work actively with sales and upselling of all products within the company.
In this role, you are also responsible for group bookings where you:
- have personal contact with the group or company you work with
- perform price calculations
- write quotations
- develop program proposals and are responsible for planning, service, and logistics for the group
- are responsible for invoicing
- work closely with our Sales Manager on larger group and conference inquiries as well as agent bookings
You are also the primary booking responsible, which means that you act as a substitute for the Booking Manager if needed.
We are looking for you who
We are looking for you who are communicative, creative, meticulous, and structured. You enjoy customer contacts and are accustomed to treating customers and guests in a professional manner. It is natural for you to maintain a high service level to create good experiences. You solve problems with the customer in focus, take initiative, and can work independently.
You handle large amounts of information, which makes it important that you can absorb, sort, and convey relevant information while always keeping the customer's best interests in mind.
You will be part of a small group where you work closely together. We therefore place great emphasis on personality, teamwork, and that you feel our values align with your attitude.
You should be able to express yourself fluently in speech and writing in Swedish and English. Additional languages and experience from the hotel and restaurant industry are meritorious.
You have previous experience of booking within the hotel and/or conference industry as well as cooperation with agents. It is meritorious if you have previously worked in the booking system Picasso, which is our booking system today.
