As Assistant Store Manager, you, together with the Store Manager, take responsibility for all aspects of the store and coach the sales staff in their daily work. Does this sound like an interesting challenge? If so, please state in your application why this role suits you.

Your responsibilities as Assistant Store Manager also include working together with the Store Manager to:

• Create the best customer experience by actively and daily working on customer interactions in dialogue with colleagues
• Be an engaged member of the store's management team
• Take responsibility for continuous development and improvement work in the store, using business planning and the store efficiency program
• Monitor sales and key figures and work on involving all employees
• Sales plan and follow up together with department managers
• Contribute to good teamwork and work with feedback

The position also includes all standard tasks for store sales assistants, such as sales, picking goods, merchandising, and cash register work.

The position is a permanent employment, 35 hours/week.

We are open when our customers want to shop, which means working hours may vary – day, evening, and weekends.

Who are you? It is important that you have a genuine interest in food, service, and sales. You are cheerful and positive, enjoy working in a team, and have the ability to inspire and communicate. You get things done, like working at a fast pace, and can handle stressful environments.

Meritorious qualifications:

• Experience and competence in food retail
• Experience working towards set sales goals and actively contributing to increased upselling through merchandising and campaigns
• Experience leading and distributing work in teams, introducing new staff, and coaching employees in daily work
