Are you an experienced marketer ready for your next challenge and excited about creating something new? Is digital marketing your home ground, and do you thrive when turning ideas into action? Then you might be the one we are looking for.

We want more people in Norrbotten to choose the bus, which is why we are looking for you who love a challenge and have many years of experience creating successful campaigns that generate growth and increase our customer base. This is a new role within a small department where the work is operational and varied. To succeed, you need to be just as comfortable with analytical tools and strategic work as you are with implementing plans into action and following up on results.

About the role

As a Marketing Strategist with us, you will play a key role in increasing public transport usage in Norrbotten. Through data-driven insights, target group analyses, and precise campaigns, you will contribute to more people choosing public transport while strengthening our brand.

This is a role for you who enjoy combining analysis with execution. One day you dive deep into data, target groups, and campaign results to identify new opportunities. The next day, you work operationally on setting up campaigns and planning marketing activities. It is important that you roll up your sleeves and help out where needed, whether it involves coordinating an activity, preparing for a trade fair, or launching a campaign.

An important part of the assignment is understanding our travelers' behaviors, identifying development opportunities, and turning insights into activities that create measurable results. You are responsible for planning, executing, and following up on marketing activities in both digital and traditional channels.

Using data, customer insights, environmental scanning, and continuous follow-up, you analyze the impact of our efforts. You develop and present ongoing reports, identify trends, and provide recommendations regarding channel selection, target groups, and future marketing activities. You work result-oriented and ensure that our decisions and priorities are based on facts, contributing to maximizing the impact of our marketing investments.

You work closely with colleagues in communication and traveler service, as well as external partners. Together, you create unified and relevant communication that strengthens the relationship with our travelers and contributes to Länstrafiken's long-term development.

About you

We are looking for someone who is driven, business-minded, and curious about human behavior. You are motivated by understanding what creates results and have the ability to turn data and insights into concrete activities. At the same time, you are someone who naturally takes initiative, gets things done, and enjoys working close to the operations.

To succeed in this role, you have a relevant academic education in marketing, communication, or economics, along with several years of experience in qualified marketing work. You have good knowledge of digital marketing, customer journeys, CRM, channel strategy, and analytical tools, and are accustomed to working in a data-driven manner, following up on results, and developing marketing efforts based on insights and facts.

As a person, you are independent, unpretentious, and proactive. You combine strategic thinking with operational drive and have no problem switching between long-term development work and practical execution. You build trust in collaborations, thrive in a development-oriented environment, and appreciate working together with others towards common goals.
