We are now building a new marketing function in Piteå Municipality and are looking for someone who wants to join the journey. Here, you will become part of a team working with place branding, tourism, relocation, and events. Together, we want to showcase everything that makes Piteå a place people want to visit, live, and work in, doing so in a way that feels authentic, relevant, and inspiring.

About the role

We are looking for a marketing communicator with broad competence who thrives in a varied role where communication, creativity, and collaboration are key building blocks.

As a marketing communicator, you will become an important part of our new marketing function. Together, we are responsible for developing and marketing Piteå through our place brand, tourism, relocation initiatives, and events.

You will contribute ideas, content, and communication to both large and small projects. Sometimes you will lead your own assignments, and sometimes you will work closely with colleagues.

Responsibilities

Your tasks will include, but are not limited to:

• Writing texts for the web, social media, and other channels
• Planning, creating, and publishing content for different target groups
• Producing advertisements and marketing materials
• Photographing and filming when needed
• Participating in campaigns and marketing efforts
• Contributing to the development of Piteå's place brand and the municipality's marketing.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with…

• Education in marketing, communication, or equivalent experience
• Experience writing and producing content for various channels
• Good knowledge of social media and digital communication
• Experience creating simple graphic materials and advertisements
• Proficiency in working with relevant communication tools.
