Orust Waldorf School, Stensbo School, and Orust Montessori School are now looking for a School Nurse for our operations.

The work is scheduled for one day per school.

Our schools are located on the island of Orust, with close proximity to forests and the sea.

Orust Montessori School has approximately 60 children in preschool class to grade 6, and is located in Henån.

Orust Waldorf School has approximately 150 children in preschool class to grade 9, and is located about 10 minutes from Henån in the beautiful area of Slussen.

Stensbo School is located in Hälleviksstrand on western Orust and has approximately 40 children in preschool class to grade 6.

Responsibilities:

The School Nurse's main areas of responsibility are health checks and health conversations, as well as vaccination activities within the school health service's medical effort. The School Nurse should primarily work preventively and health-promoting to promote physical health and prevent mental ill health. The School Nurse is part of the school health team at each school.

Qualifications:

• Nurse who has either completed specialist education as a district nurse or specialist education in health and care for children and adolescents, eligible to prescribe medication for vaccination
