We are now looking for a Front Desk Officer for a public sector operation where security, service, and quality are central. Here you will work in an important role related to the management of eService Cards and identity services, contributing to the smooth and secure operation of the business every day. This is a perfect role for you if you enjoy working in a structured manner, meeting people, and taking responsibility in a socially important function.

The expected start of the assignment is late August/early September. During the summer period, feedback and response times may be slightly delayed, but we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Your responsibilities

In the role of Front Desk Officer, you work with the management of eService Cards linked to the identification service SITHS – a central security solution for strong authentication within the public sector. You are responsible for ensuring that the right person receives the right authorization and electronic identity according to current processes and regulations.

You will work both administratively and operationally, with daily contact with users. The work takes place on-site at the operation's premises as well as out at customers within Gothenburg City and, in some cases, within the Region of Västra Götaland.

Your responsibilities include, among other things:

  • Receiving users for photography, activation, and issuance of eService Cards
  • Administering card orders in the associated system
  • Issuing reserve cards (LoA2 and LoA3)
  • Deregistering cards and handling unlocking and ordering of PUK codes
  • Ensuring that the work follows current routines and regulations
  • Traveling to operations to perform photography and activation of cards

Your profile

We are looking for you who are structured, careful, and have a strong sense of service. You thrive in a role where you combine administration with human contact and take responsibility for ensuring the work is performed correctly.

You have good communication skills and feel confident meeting different types of users in your daily work. You are flexible, solution-oriented, and adapt easily to changing needs.

To succeed in the role, you need to be able to work independently while being a team player who contributes to a positive work environment. You are accustomed to working in administrative systems and have a careful working method where you follow routines and processes.

A Category B driver's license is required as the role involves traveling to operations within Gothenburg City and, in some cases, within the Region of Västra Götaland. Previous experience with SITHS card management is an advantage.

All communication and documentation takes place in Swedish, which means you need to have very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
