About the Role
The Sustainability Department is located within the Municipal Executive Office and is part of the Office for Growth and Sustainability. The office is responsible for several city-wide processes, such as comprehensive planning, land and development, business development, social and ecological sustainability, as well as issues related to safety and security.
Responsibilities
As a Process Manager at the Municipal Executive Office, you have a strategic role where you are responsible for driving and coordinating Trollhättan Municipality's transition work. The assignment involves change management, and you lead the work both communicatively and strategically to engage administrations and municipal companies in Trollhättan in the climate transition. The position focuses on climate transition but may also include process management within other development areas. The work is conducted according to the goals in the city's climate transition plan, "Climate Roadmap".
The assignment involves creating conditions and structures to develop, test, and implement measures that reduce climate impact and contribute to the city's overall transition work. This includes creating current situation analyses at a high level, analyzing development needs, and concretizing which steps need to be taken forward together with relevant stakeholders. You communicate direction and priorities, create engagement, and support employees and managers at different levels in initiating and implementing changes. Furthermore, you develop and establish internal and external collaborations that strengthen the organization's ability to work across administrative boundaries, with the aim of achieving common and long-term sustainable solutions.
You are responsible for leading a transition team with competence in statistics, analysis, communication, digitalization, and innovation. You also lead cross-sectoral working groups with employees from administrations, municipal companies, and external organizations. In the assignment, you have close contact with both political leadership and administrative management.
You report to the Sustainability Director and are part of the Office for Growth and Sustainability at the Municipal Executive Office.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have a relevant university degree and extensive experience in process management with a focus on change management. You have experience with, and are confident in, leading work and management groups in change as well as in goal-seeking processes. You are accustomed to handling complex systems and strategic assignments and can, if necessary, handle tensions at the operational level and in groups. You have experience with a politically governed organization as well as handling political cases. You work strategically at the management level and have good analytical skills.
Experience with behavioral changes and methods for effect logic is meritorious. Great importance is attached to personal qualities.
